Developing Design Idea One

(Click on an image to see it more clearly, then click the back arrow)
My first developing design idea consists simply of the main image, the artist's name and some extra images of the artist. I have researched existing media and discovered that many double page spreads consisting of interviews about artists are very simplistic and have large areas taken up by imagery rather than text.

Developing Design Idea Two

In my developing design idea two I have extended the image to the right so as it does not separate from the text directly down the middle of the page. This is partly because through research of existing media I discovered that many magazines do this. However I also chose to do this so as when the page is folded the text does not fall into the fold and become difficult to read. I used this image because I like the lighting I used as it makes the models upper body and face stand out. I increased the highlights to emphasise the lighting. The smaller images at the top of the page I changed to be at different angles to link back to the front cover and contents page where certain elements are at an angle to give it a slightly messy, rebelious feel about it.
